Do I need to make my own hotel reservation for FRSS?

No, the cost of the room is included in your FRSS registration fee and we have a block of rooms reserved for that purpose. If you require special accommodations, for example, a handicapped room, please indicate that in the Special Requests box on the registration page.

Are all room charges covered in the registration fee?

Basic room charges, taxes and related fees for Feb 6-9 are included. At the time of check-in, all FRSS attendees will be asked to file a credit card to pay for incidentals such as phone calls, parking or room service.

Will I be able to stay extra nights if necessary?

Yes, FRSS will reserve a smaller block of rooms Sunday night prior to the start of FRSS for those wishing to come in early. The cost of the extra night can be added to your FRSS invoice or can be paid separately. All other nights can be reserved by the participant by contacting the Ritz-Carlton directly.

Will I be able to upgrade to a suite?

If a suite is available for the dates of your stay, you may upgrade for a fee of $350. Please indicate your wishes in the "Special Requests" section of the registration form.

How will meals be handled during my stay?

FRSS will host dinner on Monday night as well as all meals and snacks on Tuesday and Wednesday.

What time is check-in/check-out at the Ritz-Carlton?

Check-in at the Ritz-Carlton is after 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6th. You may arrive earlier if necessary; however, we cannot guarantee that a room will be available until after 3:00 p.m. Check-out is before 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9th.

Are smoking rooms available at the Ritz-Carlton?

No, the hotel is smoke-free.

What is the attire for FRSS meetings and events?

All meetings and events are Business Casual. Since the temperature in meeting rooms is unpredictable and can often be chilly, we recommend that attendees bring a jacket or sweater.

Will I need to provide my own transportation from the airport to The Ritz-Carlton?

No, FRSS will provide transfers from the airport to the hotel.  A schedule will be provided to all participants at a date closer to the event.

I have used the online registration screen to register for FRSS. How do I pay my registration fee?

A member of our registration team will contact you to arrange payment. All invoices are due upon receipt payable by check made out to Velocity Solutions or by credit card.

I live locally and wish to attend FRSS but do not need a hotel room. What is my rate?

Those who live locally and do not need a hotel room can pay a discounted rate of $750. This includes the meetings, breakout sessions and all meals and snacks during FRSS. FRSS participants who live locally are welcome to attend all pre-conference and evening events.

Do I need to register for breakout sessions held Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons?

Breakout sessions do not require pre-registration with the exception of the session entitled "Know Your Numbers: Profitability Analysis Customized for You." If you would like to sign up for this one-on-one session, please indicate your preference for date/time in the "Special Requests" section of the registration form.
